The busyness never ends!

Today was a very FULL day for me. I woke up this am at close to 5 am for my one of my daycare kids arrival at 5:30 am. Faith didn't come today which was SO nice- I was able to focus on spending time with Samuel! I did a large number of loads of laundry to play catch up since Bob doesn't like it when I leave to do things away from home, meanwhile the house is in shambles. I really don't blame him though, because I hate to come home to a mess! In any case, my sister and I drove out to the Ithaca mall to spend a couple of hours together. It was the first shopping trip out with Andrew, who did amazingly well. Apparently shopping bores him because he slept pretty much the whole time (a far cry from when Samuel was a newborn and would scream as soon as we even neared the door of a store, and would only be happy in my frontpack all snuggled in close) We had a nice time, and I got a really nice lamp and a couple of matching throws on clearance over 50% off!
When I got home it was time to go to DMV to take my test to get my motorcycle permit (which I did pass btw) Then off to Town Clerks office to get one of our dog licenses renewed. After that it was a pitstop at the grocery store to pick up a few odd and end items. Now it is time to give our baby boy a bath and put him to bed, all cuddled up in his blanket sleeper. He has been crawling around nonstop and the poor boy is sleepy!
Tomorrow if Bob feels better we are heading to Waterloo to the Outlets- Fun Fun! :) Have a good weekend!

I love riding on motorcycles...that is neat that you got your license....My mom has one too believe it or not--but I don't think she has ever driven one! I have never driven one myself, I asked Sparky if he would let me drive his...he said "no"...he didn't even think about it...just "NO".

That's great that Andrew does so well with shopping. Kaden tolerates it all right, but would really much rather be held than ride in the strollar. I love clearance shopping. It's always so much more fun buying something when you get a good deal.

I actually got my permit- I haven't gotten the license yet. Bob is going to try to teach my on his "old" motorcycle because it is much smaller and more easy to handle than his new Big One. Believe it or not, Dave Kuiper is also going to be coming over to learn to ride on it too. Bob has become the official motorcycle trainer :)
I agree about it being nice that Andrew is a good shopper. It will make it that much easier on Rebecca when she is in PA and has to go out shopping with the kids alone- hopefully though she won't have to do that for long because from what I understand there is a good church out in their area with some young families. How exciting for her- the possibility of having some Christian girlfriends :)

Here's a blue ribbon. Congrats on getting your permit!

(And three cheers for good deals and sisters shopping!)

My children always preferred to be carried in a snuggli as opposed to riding in the stroller, especially as newborns. What a blessing for your sister that little Andrew already does so well with shopping.

Now if we can just get our bikes on the road, we'll be golden. Bob had to replace the gear shifter on his, and mine needed a new battery.

Samuel lived in his snugglie until he was too big for it- He much prefered being held close than staying in his infant seat or stroller. I used it so much, but the last time I used it, I must have accidentally left it (probably when we went out to eat) because I always kept it in the care and it is nowhere to be found. So if I ever have another baby, a new Graco snugglie will be on the top of my to-do list! I love the Graco one because it has these slide clips that unhook and open the snugglie completely up so you can keep the baby asleep instead of juggling him/ her around to get them out!
