My early Mother's Day gift! Last weekend, Bob, with Wayne's help built me a flower bed with matching corner post I LOVE IT!!! They did such a great job of it, and it looks amazing!!! This weekend I will be planting some seeds and hopefully a small rose bush in the center- I can't wait to fill it up. Thank You Honey for a WONDERFUL Mother's Day Gift- I LOVE IT :) Posted by Picasa

THAT LOOKS FANTASTIC!! Wow! He did such a GREAT job! That will look so LOVELY when the colors start to appear! I know it can be very hard to WAIT for your plans and hardwork to finally take shape, but it will be well worth it in the end! I really like it, it gives your yard that country appeal! You'll have to post a picture in full bloom too.

I totally agree with you- they did do a terrific job, and I also cannot wait to see the end result with colors galore. I went and got some lily bulbs, and some perrenial/ annual seeds, so along with my rose bushes, I will if nothing else, give it a good try and effort :) When we see the result I'll be happy to post more photos!

Your bed looks great! And I'm sure it will be just beautiful once you fill it with flowers! What a sweet husband and son you have to build it for you. You'll have to post pictures once you plant the flowers!
God bless,
Betsy

I will definately post pictures when I see results. Right now my flower bed appears empty and bare but it is full of bulbs and seeds. Once the flowers start growing, you can be sure I'll be posting photos :)

And yes, it was very sweet of Bob and Wayne to build it for me. Bob really wanted to do something with our corner, because the neighbor not so nice teens like to cut through our yard instead of staying on the sidewalk, or congregate on the corner if we aren't watching. This has already cut back (they are congregating across the street) so it was a doubley good arrangement :)
