An Eventful (but tiring) Weekend

Well, it is Monday already, how the days just fly (especially the days off!) As soon as my daycare kids left, Bob came home, Wayne came home from school and we were off to cut down our Christmas tree, at Cole's Christmas Tree Farm. We go there every year, they are always really nice. The first year we went it was an old man and his wife. Now his son has taken over the farm. We picked a beautiful tree, but we accidentally picked the most expensive one this year (usually we always get the 10 dollar trees, but we made an oops and picked a 21 dollar one instead) Wayne helped cut it down, and Samuel slept thru the whole thing, until we paid for it. We took pictures with the digital camera, but someone accidentally deleted all my pictures on my camera, so now I have no actual photos which stinks but there is nothing I can do about it now. I am just glad I got some of my baby shower photos developed before they all were deleted because otherwise I would have no pictures of my beautiful baby shower. (and my pregnancy pictures too!) We left the tree on the porch, because we didn't want to have our annual fight with our Christmas tree stand that night. Friday night, after Samuel went to bed I painted a few more ornaments and one nightlight in the hopes that I would do better at the craft sale I had on Saturday. On Saturday we spent from 7:50 am to 4:30pm at the Craft sale which happened to be at Wayne's school. I sold not one item (except for a few ornaments and a nightlight from my mom, but it is hard to count them because mom's support their children no matter what their skills or talent) Not a single one! I do have to say I was pretty depressed, I even broke down into tears at one point during the show and fought to gain control again. Samuel was such a joy- he had all the grandma and grandpa crafters oogling over him. They said he was the best and sweetest baby they knew, they asked to hold him, and kissed on him. He hardly slept at all, but kept cheerful pretty much the whole time (he got grumpy all night because of too much stimulation though) Bob made me feel better later, because he knew I was tired and down in the dumps(Samuel has been up alot during the night this past week, because of his bad cold/cough and because it is chilly in his room, and he tosses around but doesn't know how to recover himself so he wakes up freezing and then needs to be nursed back to sleep) Bob made dinner for us, and made sweet potato fries specially for me. He also did some things around the house, including putting the Christmas tree up, and just was really supportive which helped me feel better. Sunday we went to church (after another sleepless night with Samuel) When we came home, Samuel was so tired he actually fell asleep in the van on the way home from church, and stayed asleep when I got him out of the car and laid him down. He slept his normal naptime but since this past week he has been having a hard time sleeping, this seemed like forever! Samantha, Wayne, and I decorated the house and Christmas tree, while Bob watched football. I was so tired, all the busy days and sleepless nights caught up with me, I pretty much did nothing else. Samuel finally slept through the night last night, so I got a full nights sleep again. I still have to finish decorating outside, and start making Christmas cookies soon, but we're getting there slowly but surely!
