Finished Products!
Well, I finally finished much of what I started. The house is fully decorated for Christmas, both inside and outside. The photo I took on the porch was too dark, so unfortunately I wasn't able to get a picture of the pretty garland around the doorframe, the poinsetta tablecloth and matching handpainted sleigh hanging near the window, the tiny decorated tree on the porch, and the beautiful wreath my sister made/ gave me as an early Christmas gift. You can see the lights though, shining and sparkling through the mini-snowstorm we had last night and early this am.
I also completed Samuel's stocking. The jingle bells are on, as is the rickrack, Samuel's name, and the little snowman next to his name. I think it turned out nicely considering the boo-boo I made when I first started creating it with no pattern. The only thing left to do is hang up our stockings.
We were supposed to go visit my aging grandparents this Saturday for the day (Oma and Opa) Instead, we went and picked up our family photos which turned out nice! Because of the snow, Bob was worried about us travelling to a place where it was likely worse than here, so the trip was cancelled. It was rather difficult, seeing that we were all looking forward to it (even Samantha) They are getting older, and aren't able to drive out to visit really very well anymore. I miss visiting with them. I'll just have to pray that my uncle brings them out to visit, when he comes into town from Christmas to New Years. It was a sad decision, but it is probably for the best.
Well, I keep dozing off, so I am going to do my body a favor and go to bed. Good night all, and sleep well!
