Much ado about packing
Faith was still sick today, so I went over to Rebecca's house to help her pack. We hardly got any done between Andrew waking up to nurse (how dare he! :)) and Samuel having total meltdown because he was tired and hungry (he had been up since 4 am with very little morning nap) I truly felt bad that here I came to help, and hardly accomplished anything for her! I guess a couple of boxes is better than nothing. Samuel was so tired that I laid him in Rebecca's beanbag chair. When he started waking up, he dozed back off half hanging off the chair. It was such a funny sight, seeing him sleeping soundly with his legs hanging off the sides! Later in the afternoon Samuel and I went to Hickories Park, so I could catch a walk, and he could catch some playtime in the warm sun- talk about beautiful. Later on we had Wayne's open house at school.. His teacher said he is doing better at paying attention, especially since she moved his desk to the front, away from other children who could distract him- This was such a relief that he is making effort to do better because he really had a rough time of it as well. We also got to see his report card- most of his grades improved a bit, another thing to Praise God for! So, all in all it was a wonderful day, visiting with my sister, enjoying the sunshine, and hearing a good report on Wayne's behavior and school work! :)

Are you kidding? Frankly, just having you visit was MORE than wonderful. And like you said, we are done THREE boxes more than we were before!
Thank you so much for coming over. And please-come again. NOT for packing but for VISITING, as THAT is what I most enjoy! :-)
Ahhh the joys of having the little ones! At least you got SOMETHING accomplished!
Sounds like a lovely day. I always enjoy taking Bret to the park, and he loves playing there as well. You must be relieved to here that Wayne is doing better in school, I'm sure being in the front of the classroom and away from distractions has made a world of difference for him. That's too funny about Samuel and the beanbag chair. I love the pictures you posted - they're hilarious! Take care and God bless!

I enjoy every moment with you Rebecca- it stinks that the last few weeks that you are here it seems as though we have been able to get together less often, but that's what happens when you are BUSY as a bumblebee, and I have lots of kids home for spring break!
We did get some accomplished and that is a good thing!
I love the sunshine, blue skies, and warm temperatures, I would take them anyday!!! I also enjoy going to the park. Sunday afternoons we often pack a picnic, or cookout food and spend the afternoon together at the park after church- I enjoy it so much!
I am also relieved that Wayne is doing better- it was nice getting a good report from his teacher face to face! I hope he keeps it up :)
