Ready for Spring!

Bob called in to work sick today (the first time in a few years!) Usually he goes to work, even when he isn't feeling good, but he has been having sinus problems and coughing since Friday, and is just wiped out! Samuel had a rough night and I ended up in his room during the wee hours of the am. All of a sudden dogs were barking, I didn't hear my alarm and ended up meeting my daycare dad in a robe with Samuel in tow- how embarrassing! First chance I get, I'm getting a cheap alarm clock for Samuel's room, to prevent a repeat episode.
It was pretty outside yesterday, and is supposed to be even prettier today and tomorrow. Hopefully we can get out and enjoy it, because after that, we are expecting a lot of April Showers.
Wayne has a book report today on Benjamin Frankin. complete with costume. We made a wig out of a mophead, and along with dress pants tucked into his soccer socks, he looks really good! Hopefully his book report will go well! :)

Here's a quote to think about "He who wants milk should not sit on a stool in the middle of the pasture expecting the cow to back up to him " Lazy people are soon poor; hard workers get rich, Proverbs 10:4 It's something I need to remember when I'm feeling lazy :)

Ahhh! Thanks for the quote. I've gotta get off my duff!

Hope Bob feels better swiftly.

And I think we, your faithful readers, deserve a picture of Benjamin Franklin (that is, if one is to be had).

I hope Bob is feeling better soon. And Wayne's book report sounds really cute! I certainly know what it's like to have a rough night with a baby, and I've had to meet company at the door without being dressed before too...although now it's nice because Edward takes the kids to school and I can sleep in with Heather and Kaden if they let me.
